Warpigs opens in Parken Stadium

Parken Stadium and Warpigs have entered into a collaboration that will bring the craft beer brand out of Copenhagen's famous Meatpacking District for the first time.

Warpigs, part of the Mikkeller beer brand, will open stalls in the Upper B and Lower C stands in Parken. It is another step towards Parken providing fans with the best experiences during football games.

"We have a strategic goal to constantly improve the experience in Parken for the roughly one million guests we have each year, so that it matches the city we represent," says Brian Månsson.

"Warpigs deliver quality and are a brand that Copenhageners have really taken to heart. It therefore makes very good sense for us that they should also be part of the experience in Parken in the future. We are really looking forward to being able to offer guests in the Upper B and Lower C stands more top-range choices."

Warpigs is a reputable BBQ restaurant in Copenhagen and will have two stalls in Parken. Quality sausages and Warpigs' brisket sandwiches will therefore be on the menu.

"At Mikkeller, we have an ambition to be accessible and improve the experience at the most iconic locations and cultural institutions in Denmark," says founder and director of Mikkeller, Mikkel Bjergsø.

"Most recently, we opened our ferry inn at Tivoli, and it will be great now to also help raise the bar in Parken by offering Denmark's best stadium menu."

Warpigs will open for the first time for Denmark's upcoming international match on 5 June against Sweden, and will continue for all upcoming international matches and in the upcoming FCK season.
