Svensson: 'We delivered a professional performance'

F.C. Copenhagen head coach Bo Svensson says he's satisfied with the performance and the result from Thursday's 3-0 Danish Cup win over Aarhus Fremad, which sends the Lions into the quarter-finals.

"I am quite satisfied with both the performance and the result. Ultimately, it was just about advancing," he said.

"We saw yesterday that several Superliga teams struggled against opponents from the lower divisions, and we also anticipated a difficult match today. We knew that Aarhus Fremad are a good side and that the pitch is a challenging one to play on, so I am pleased that we kept the match reasonably well under control.

"The margin of victory could have been even larger – we created three or four clear-cut chances in addition to the goals, while limiting them to just a couple of opportunities, so that was good.

"I think we delivered a professional performance and looked stable, even within the slightly different setup we played in.

"As mentioned, the most important thing was to reach the quarter-finals, and we succeeded in that. Furthermore, we got through the match without any injuries, which is also important."
