Parken pitch voted best in Denmark

F.C. Copenhagen's home pitch in Parken Stadium has been voted the best in the Danish Superliga at the halfway point of the season.

Captains for Superliga teams vote twice a year on the best pitch in the league via the Players' Association's poll, with Parken's grass receiving a 4.78 average rating.

This is based on votes from July to December 2025.

It is the first time in over 10 years that Parken has received the best-rated award and is testament to the investment made into the surface in recent years.

Investment has borne fruit
In the winter of 2023, F.C. Copenhagen initiated a comprehensive and total renovation of the entire subsurface and surface of Parken's pitch, with the largest investment in the turf since the reconstruction of Parken in 1992.

“It is very satisfying to see that our sizeable, long-term investment is now bearing fruit," says FCK director Jacob Lauesen.

"First place is a huge recognition for the entire grounds team, led by Oliver Deeming. Their hard work and dedication day after day make all the difference - especially considering that Parken is one of the pitches with the most professional matches played."

This autumn, Parken's pitch has hosted 17 F.C. Copenhagen games, as well as three Denmark internationals and numerous training sessions.

AGF's temporary home ground Ceres Park Vejlby takes second place in the poll with a rating of 4.33, while Cepheus Park Randers is third with an average of 3.89.

F.C. Copenhagen also topped the poll back in the 2011/12 and 2013/14 seasons.
