Nine F.C. Copenhagen players on international duty

F.C. Copenhagen will see nine squad players head out on international duty during the upcoming break from domestic football.

Four first-team players – Mathias Zanka, Rasmus Falk, Jonas Wind and Victor Nelsson – are selected for the Denmark squad that will compete in the UEFA Nations League this month. Falk and Nelsson will, however, be only available for Wednesday's friendly with Sweden.

Denmark's fixtures are as follows:

11/11 Denmark-Sweden
15/11 Denmark-Iceland
18/11 Belgium-Denmark

Meanwhile, Mohamed Daramy has been added to the Denmark U21 squad – and Victor Nelsson may move into the side depending on his success in the first team.

17/11 Romania U21-Denmark U21

Sweden

Outside of Denmark, Kalle Johnsson and Pierre Bengtsson are in the Sweden squad for three upcoming fixtures:

11/11 Denmark-Sweden
14/11 Sweden-Croatia
17/11 France-Sweden

Iceland

Centre-back Ragnar Sigurdsson could star in the following games:

12/11 Hungary-Iceland
15/11 Denmark-Iceland
18/11 England-Iceland (there is currently uncertainty about this match due to the United Kingdom's Covid-19 restrictions for travellers from Denmark)

Greece

FCK captain Carlos Zeca may get minutes for Greece in the following fixtures:

11/11 Greece-Cyprus
15/11 Moldova-Greece
18/11 Greece-Slovenia

Denmark U16-U20 teams
Meanwhile, the DBU decided a month ago to cancel all international matches featuring teams from U16 level to U20 for the rest of 2020.

This is due to the coronavirus situation in Denmark and the rest of Europe.
