Munashe Garananga joins Hibernian FC on loan

F.C. Copenhagen have loaned Zimbabwean defender Munashe Garananga to Scottish club Hibernian FC until the summer of 2026. 

Garananga came to F.C. Copenhagen with the ambition of establishing himself in the first-team squad, but the competition for places has meant that he could not play his way to a permanent place in the starting lineup. 

Sports director Sune Smith-Nielsen explains the decision, saying: “Garananga has moved further and further away from playing time. Therefore, the time is right for him to move on and get better opportunities to play regularly and develop through matches at a good level in Scotland.” 

F.C. Copenhagen wishes Munashe Garananga the best of luck at Hibernian.
