Kamil Wilczek ends FCK stay

F.C. Copenhagen have agreed to terminate Kamil Wilczek's contract, meaning the Polish striker is free to seek a new club.

Wilczek joined FCK in the summer of 2020 from Turkish side Götztepe S.K. He played 46 games for the Lions and scored 14 goals.

"Kamil has performed extremely professionally during his time at F.C. Copenhagen," says FCK sports director Peter Christiansen.

"He has proven that he is still a player who knows where the goal is, but the prospect of playing time with us is not very good for him anymore, and therefore we have agreed to go our separate ways.

"We wish Kamil and his family all the best for the future."

With his departure from FCK, Wilczek is now free to switch to another club, even after the transfer window is closed.

"I am very grateful that I got the opportunity to play for F.C. Copenhagen," says Wilczek.

"I have enjoyed my time at the club and have always been treated well. I wish everyone in the club all the best."

Everyone at F.C. Copenhagen thanks Kamil for his efforts for the club.
