Henriette Dahl new head coach of Project P

A little over a year ago, we revealed F.C. Copenhagen was part of DBU Copenhagen's Project P, which is an initiative designed to develop girls football in Copenhagen.

The project offers free training for U12-U16 age groups, and through our Football in the City initiative, we contribute FCK coaches and training exercises based on our model for training professional football players.

Football in the City has now hired former BSF and Brøndby player, Henriette Dahl, as responsible for Project P and FCK training in our partner clubs.

In addition to Henriette's many years of experience as an active player, she has coached BSF's then 1st Division team and been assistant coach for FC Nordsjælland's women's senior team.

“We must, among other things, make a plan that is specific to the girls and not based on the way we train boys,” says Henriette, who works closely with Football in the City’s Steen Gleie.

“I'm looking forward to meeting a lot of girls who have the courage to learn something new. I hope I can motivate some of the girls to want even more with their football, and tell them that if they have a dream, they should go after it, no matter what everyone else says, ”says Henriette.
