ForKBH: SMIL Foundation work in Parken
Back in November, members from the SMIL Foundation (Smile Foundation) joined staff and volunteers at F.C. Copenhagen to help orchestrate a Danish Superliga matchday in Parken.
Around 50 children from the SMIL Foundation came with their parents and careers to Parken for the FCK vs FC Fredericia game, and enjoyed a very special day in Denmark's national stadium.
The kids were given tasks, including putting kit out for the players in the locker room, ensuring food quality was of a high standard for fans, and calling out the FCK starting XI as the players walked out.
The SMIL Foundation gives kids with serious and chronic illnesses experiences that enhance their lives, by giving them a joyful break from their situation. F.C. Copenhagen have worked with the SMIL Foundation on a number of activities in recent years.
