FCK Women add trio to squad
F.C. Copenhagen Women have today added three new names to the full playing squad.
Attackers Cecilie Byrnak and Anna Hemmingsen, and centre-back Celine Kampmann, were all given their debuts in the recent cup win over Frederiksberg Boldklub.
Now, the trio are officially on FCK Women's squad list for the 2025/26 season.
Cecilie Byrnak
Playmaker Byrnak joins from FC Nordsjælland. She grew up playing football at FCN and Brøndby's youth teams and represented Denmark at youth level.
"After two years without full match activity due to injuries, Cecilie is now ready to find her old level again," says head coach Kasper Klarskov.
"She has strong technical qualities and the ability to set up her teammates. We are looking forward to adding her to our squad."
Discussing joining the team, Byrnak says: "I have chosen F.C. Copenhagen because I want to be somewhere where I can develop as a player and be challenged every day. The club has a strong training environment and great ambitions, which motivates me enormously.
"I have been very well received by both players and staff, and I'm looking forward to starting this new chapter and contributing to the team's journey forward."

Anna Hemmingsen
Hemmingsen joins F.C. Copenhagen from Brøndby's U19 team. Discussing the signing, Klarskov says: "Anna is an offensive midfielder with technical flair, but at the same time a fighter who is not afraid of duels."
Hemmingsen adds: "For me, the move to F.C. Copenhagen is about taking the next step in my development and finding the right club. I'm looking forward to getting started, and now the focus is on helping the team and the club get into the top division.
"My ambitions are to work hard for the team and the club, so that we can go up and play at the top of Danish women's football. My strengths on the field are my technique, speed and tactical awareness, as well as my ability to cover all offensive positions."

Celine Kampmann
Defender Kampmann joins F.C. Copenhagen from FC Nordsjælland, with Klarskov describing her as "a centre-back with a good physique, high speed and strong defensive qualities."
The head coach adds: "She played youth football at B.93 and Odense Boldklub Q after her secondary education, before moving to FC Nordsjælland, where she has been part of both the youth and senior squads. At F.C. Copenhagen, the goal now is for her to have more regular playing time at senior level."
Kampmann says of joining FCK: "I am really looking forward to being part of the journey the club is already on. I am looking forward to playing a lot of matches, feeling the atmosphere from our fans and of course helping to ensure good results.
"I look forward to contributing by first and foremost being a good teammate and giving everything I have on the field. I will especially be able to contribute to the team with my physique, composure on the ball and my ability to communicate and take responsibility on the field. I will always come to the training field with a smile on my face and in a positive mindset."

Klarskov: Three talented players
Reflecting on the new arrivals, Klarskov adds: "These are three young and talented players who all need senior experience to develop to the next level.
"Sometimes it is easier to achieve the right development by taking a step down and then later taking the step up again. We are happy that they have chosen us, because they all have the potential to become top-division players in the long term.
"Now I'm looking forward to getting further into the league season, and we saw most recently against ASA Aarhus that we need to be fully prepared in all matches to play."
