FCK to play two home games behind closed doors

F.C. Copenhagen have received a fine of 150,000 DKK and must play their next home game against FC Midtjylland and the next derby against Brøndby behind closed doors. As a conditional judgment, one more home game can be played without spectators.

"We recognize and accept that there must be some sort of disciplinary sanction for what happened at Brøndby Stadion. We have several times condemned the episode, and of course we still do. However, we find that these sanctions are out of proportions. We will therefore appeal the decision and are now waiting to see if the sentence will be postponed while our appeal is being processed. We have no further comments now," says CEO Anders Hørsholt.
