FC Copenhagen third shirt to be revealed by adidas
FC Copenhagen and adidas will launch the new FCK third kit on Friday, November 16.
And you could be among the very first to see it. You can contribute to shirt unveiling in the FC Copenhagen Fan Shop, where we will hold a launch party from 17:30 to 19:00.
Here we will reveal the new shirt, while Carlsberg will deliver drinks and ICEKIID stands for the music.
The launch of the new shirt is based on adidas' 'Bring Stadium to the Streets', which involves bringing football from the stadium to urban Copenhagen and the city.
"We would like to follow the time and developments in football jerseys and their launches. There is currently a clear pattern, primarily at Adidas Global, where one makes a virtue of making more than just a football jersey," says Martin Nøhr Rådberg, shop manager at the FCK Fan Shop.
"They are just as much a statement, as they most certainly also influence the fashion image. We want to develop and try out alternative shirts, and this was one of the ways we could bring football from the stadium to the streets."
ICEKIID will be helping present the new kit to fans and Martin is delighted to get the artist on board.
"We see ICEKIID as the perfect person to fulfil this task as he is a very exciting artist with enormous potential and his heart in the right place," Martin said.
"He is a humble, hardworking artist who constantly keeps up with single after single. He follows the trends of the time, but is equally involved in developing them. He is at eye level with his fans and has a special bond with the young generation."
