FC Copenhagen summer schedule: When you can watch us
The FC Copenhagen players are enjoying their summer break but soon the squad will be back for pre-season training.
The Danish Superliga starts up for the 2019/20 season on the weekend of the 12-15 July.
And that means the Lions will be putting in the hard graft long before then on the training pitch, as well as heading off to Bad Radkersburg in Austria for our camp.
Fans visiting Copenhagen will be able to watch the team before the season officially starts. And of course, you'll also be able to buy tickets for the opening games of the Superliga when the fixtures are released!
Here is an overview of FCK's summer to come…
First training day
The players who have not joined various national teams will meet for the first joint training day on 20 June.
On 27 June, several of our national team players like Pieros Sotiriou, Carlos Zeca, Sotirios Papagiannopoulos, Andreas Bjelland, Jesse Joronen and Karlo Bartolec will arrive for their first training session. Robert Skov, Jonas Wind and Carlo Holse will play in the U21 European Championships and will therefore join the rest of the squad later.
First training match
We play our the first training match on June 28. It will be against Fremad Amager, who finished fifth in the Danish first division last season.
More info about kick-off time, place and spectator conditions will be released.
Training camp
Once again our summer training camp will be in Bad Radkersburg in Austria. The squad fly out on 30 June and return home on 9 July.
As always, the plan is to play three training matches during our trip. Further information on these games will follow on FCK.dk.
Start of the season
The first Superliga round is played on the weekend of 12-15. July. The fixture programme is not yet in place.
Champions League qualification
FCK enter into the second qualifying round of the Champions League, where our first match will be played on 23 or 24 July.
The draw for the qualifying round will take place on June 18.
