F.C. Copenhagen sign Jordan Larsson

F.C. Copenhagen can confirm Jordan Larsson has joined the club on a permanent deal for the next four years, having initially been on loan from Schalke 04.

Larsson helped guide FCK to the league and cup double in the 2022/23 season. He arrived on loan in January and scored six goals in 16 games for the club.

Now the Swede has completed a full switch to the Danish capital.

"We are very satisfied that Jordan is staying at FCK and sees his future with us," says Peter Christiansen.

"It has been a priority for us to get this deal in place as soon as possible, and in a sensible way. He is a player of international caliber and has the ability to decide matches, while he has also fitted in perfectly with the squad from day one with his personality."

A great offensive option for the team
FCK head coach Jacob Neestrup is delighted to have the first deal of the summer in place.

"Jordan is a great offensive option for us, offering more opportunities going forward with his versatility," says Neestrup.

"He is fast, strong in his link-up play and he can score goals. It has been important for us to keep a player who has already proven that he fits in well with the team, in the club and in the city. I strongly believe that Jordan will only get stronger for us and find a good grounding here."

'I have felt at home'
Larsson has previously played in Swedish, Dutch, Russian and most recently German football, and he is now looking forward to making his base in Copenhagen permanent.

"I have felt at home and welcome here ever since I arrived," says Larsson. "Everyone - and not least the fans - welcomed me fantastically, and I immediately felt that this was a really good match.

"For me, FCK are a big club with international ambitions, and I will do everything to help the club and the city to fulfil them. I enjoy being part of the team and being in Copenhagen, and I feel that I have found my footing here after a few challenging years in my career. It gives me great motivation and the desire to give everything for FCK."

Everyone at F.C. Copenhagen welcomes - again - Jordan to the club and the city.
