F.C. Copenhagen coaching changes
F.C. Copenhagen can confirm a number of changes to the coaching set-up in the first team:
- Jannick Breuning becomes a permanent assistant coach under Jess Thorup
- Stefan Madsen will be the new Player Development Coach for our U19 team in the Talent Department
- Hjalte Nørregaard will continue as temporary assistant of the first team until a new person is in place
"We think this is a really good solution for both the first team and the talent department," says William Kvist.
"Jannick has done really well in the FCK Talent Department for a number of years and has also contributed a lot lately around the first team, so we are happy that he is ready for the new challenge.
"We are also very pleased that Stefan has accepted his new role, which will be incredibly important in relation to the collaboration between the talent department and the first team. Here Stefan has great abilities that benefit the young players on the edge of the first team.
"Stefan has made a real effort around the first team, and fortunately he will also be a regular part of everyday life here in his new function."
The talent department also welcomes the new dynamic.
"We will have plenty of capability in Stefan, who has a central role in our work to integrate U19 players to the first team," says talent manager Sune Smith-Nielsen.
"Stefan knows more than anyone what young prospects must be able to live up to in order to take the step into the first team. It will definitely benefit us.
"In relation to Jannick, we are proud that we not only train players for FCK's Superliga squad, but also develop coaches and managers for the club's first team."
