Mohamed Daramy - vinder af Stayandplay Cup

Daramy wins FIFA20 Stay and Play Cup

F.C. Copenhagen's Mohamed Daramy won the FIFA20 Stay and Play Cup on Sunday, beating Djurgården's Jesper Karlsson 2-1 in the final.

The Stay and Play Cup was organised last week to bring together player representatives from some of the biggest teams in Europe.

Daramy beat AIK, Ajax, Porto and HJK Helsinki on his route to the final, in a competition that involved the likes of Roma, Liverpool, Manchester City and PSG.

The final was a close affair, with Mo taking the lead towards the end before Djurgården's Karlsson equalised late on.

But Mo kept his cool and secured the win with a Golden Goal in extra time.

The purpose of the tournament was to raise money for the fight against Covid-19, with a million dollars having already been pledged.

"It's been great to be in a tournament like this with big clubs and big players, and a great feeling to see that crucial goal go in during the Golden Goal," says Mo.

"It's also cool and important to help raise funds for the good cause of fighting the coronavirus.

"I would also like to send a big thanks to the many fans who have sent me messages along the way and believed in me."
