Svensson: We want to beat Randers for the fans

Bo Svensson says there is still a lot to play for as F.C. Copenhagen head into the final game of the season at home to Randers today – even though the Lions are also preparing for the European playoff match.

FCK will finish the season in seventh and it's yet unknown who we will face in the playoff later this month.

A packed Parken is expected to welcome the Lions onto the field on Sunday (2pm) and Svensson says he's keen to get a result and performance out of the players.

"In terms of points, we don't have much to achieve in relation to the table, but it is our last home game of the season, where we want to finish well," says Svensson.

"There will also be a lot of spectators in Parken, which we are very happy about despite the season we have had, and we would also like to honour that with a good performance and a victory. In addition, there are two great figures in F.C. Copenhagen's history, Claesson and Zanka, who are playing their last home game, and that is also why it is definitely not an unimportant match.

"However, we take into account that we played a tough match on Thursday, so we need to bring in some fresh players, and players like Gabriel, Dadason and Achorui are suffering from injuries, but it's nothing serious."

We recommend everyone to arrive in good time. We will also be honouring our Groundsteam for the award of Best Pitch of the Year, and we will also be visited by Sibusiso Zuma on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of his overhead kick against Brøndby.
