F.C. Copenhagen appoint new lead first-team analyst
Marius Fischer has joined F.C. Copenhagen as the club’s new lead first-team analyst, who will act as the daily manager of the analysis department.
The 34-year-old German has been employed at Viborg FF since 2021, where he has held several different roles in their analysis department – most recently as head of performance and analysis.
Marius arrives with extensive experience in the use of data and has, due to his five years in the Danish Superliga, an in-depth knowledge of the Danish league.
He will join the club on 30 June and will travel with the squad when the team goes on a training camp in Austria.
The appointment follows Nicklas Rüsz Skousgaard Pedersen's departure from F.C. Copenhagen after many years of great work, to take up a new job at Panathinaikos.
Everyone at F.C. Copenhagen wishes Nicklas the best of luck in the future and at the same time extends a warm welcome to Marius. FCK would also like to thank Viborg for a good dialogue regarding the agreement with Marius.
