Svensson reacts to 3-2 friendly win over AC Horsens

Bo Svensson says Saturday's 3-2 friendly win over AC Horsens was a worthwhile learning experience as the team continues its preparations for the return of the Danish Superliga.

The new campaign kicks off on Sunday 26 July against Lyngby, but only after a UEFA Conference League qualifier with FC Polissya.

Two goals from Andreas Cornelius and Youssoufa Moukoko's first-half penalty earned the Lions victory over Horsens.

And Svensson says there was plenty to analyse from the game.

"There were periods when I think we were okay, but there's also a lot that was missing in our game," said Svensson afterwards.

"We threw a lot of balls away, and we lacked dynamics when we pressed, so there are several things we need to look at.

"But we created a lot of chances, even more than Horsens, and we took advantage of three of them, so it was good enough. But of course not good enough that we also conceded two.

"We also avoided injuries, and that's important right now when we're already missing quite a few. Sarapata dislocated his shoulder in training yesterday and is out for a while, and Hunor also sat out today, but hopefully will be back on Thursday."

FCK's last friendly of the summer is a clash with Viborg FF on 16 July, before attention turns to Ukranian side Polissya and a trip to Slovakia.

"Hopefully Gabriel and Birger can get some minutes (against Viborg), because they're in training now, and Achouri is also back," added Svensson.

"Kotarski and Suzuki will come back, and then we have to see how many are ready already on Thursday against Viborg."
