Parken targets 1 million guests in 2023

Parken Stadium expects to welcome more than a million guests to the national arena in 2023.

The stadium, which has stood as an emblem for sporting greatness and high-level entertainment in Denmark for years, has a packed bill for spectators to look forward to in 2023.

Alongside football games for F.C. Copenhagen and the Danish national team, there are six major concerts taking place at the venue. It means organisers can set an ambitious yet realistic target of welcoming more than a million visitors through the gates at Parken for the first time.

'An ambitious goal'
"We have set the bar high for the coming year, and we want more than a million people to come to Parken and have great experiences at football matches or concerts," says FCK director Jacob Lauesen.

"It is an ambitious goal, but we believe that it's a realistic one that will take Parken into the list of Top 5 attractions in Copenhagen."

Great experiences on the bill
In addition to F.C. Copenhagen's home games in 2023, Parken will also be the setting for six major concerts. Coldplay and Bruce Springsteen will both perform twice, while Depeche Mode and Suspekt have single gigs booked in this year. There are also cup finals and international football fixtures to add to the calendar.

World-leading experience in Parken
"It's a fantastic year for concerts, and when the biggest club and international matches are also on the programme, we are very optimistic that we will reach one million guests," adds Jacob.

"The goal is not only to get a lot of people in here, but also to constantly develop the total experience for them.

"We are embarking on a major development in our Food & Beverage area with lots of new opportunities, we have a new international top-class network on the way, and our level of service must be top notch.

"We look forward to making a lot of people happy with that, and we cannot wait to get started."

FCK kick off 2023
The first event in Parken in 2023 is FCK's Superliga game against AaB on 26 February, for which almost 30,000 have already secured a place.
