Mustapha Nyassi joins Kolding IF on loan

F.C. Copenhagen have agreed to send young Gambian right-back Mustapha Nyassi on loan to Kolding IF for the rest of the season.

The 18-year-old defender, who joined F.C. Copenhagen from Gambian champions Real de Banjul, will seek valuable first-team experience at Kolding. 

Since his arrival, Nyassi has established himself as a strong player with good defensive 1v1 skills, a great motor and good speed.

Now is the time for continuous playing time at senior level, believes Kristjaan Speakman, who says: “Mustapha has shown great potential, which we see as a good fit for F.C. Copenhagen in the future.

“But getting playing time makes this the right time to take the next steps. Kolding IF is a good environment for him to continue his development, and we look forward to following his development closely in the coming months.”

The loan takes effect immediately, and everyone at F.C. Copenhagen wishes Mustapha good luck in Kolding for the rest of the season.
