Geovanni Ndjee promoted to FCK first-team squad

F.C. Copenhagen can confirm youngster Geovanni Vianney Ndjee has been prompted to the first-team squad this spring.

Ndjee, 18, joined the Lions from the Kadji Sport Academy in Cameroon in January.

The young striker has already shown his abilities, and therefore he is now a permanent member of the first-team squad.

"Geovanni has trained with the first-team squad since his arrival, so it is quite natural that we now promote him to a permanent part of the squad," says Technical Director Nils Koppen.

"Since his first day at the club, he has shown his potential, and Geovanni has truly seized the opportunity and accelerated his development here.

"There is still a great deal for Geovanni to learn, and he is still in his transition period on the first team and in terms of integrating into life in Denmark. But he has the qualities and the potential to become a future F.C. Copenhagen striker. We look forward to continuing his development in collaboration with Gio."

The striker has so far made six appearances in the F.C. Copenhagen jersey but has yet to make a first-team start.
