FCK first-team squad returns on Sunday

F.C. Copenhagen's first-team squad return to training on Sunday to begin preparations for the 2025/26 season – and head coach Jacob Neestrup is looking forward to having the players back.

The squad is divided into groups on Sunday for various physical tests, before training in full begins on Monday.

"It's very simple. We are slowly introducing the players into the pre-season to ensure that everyone hits the right load at the right pace," says the boss.

"The training camp will be used to integrate the new players into the squad and staff, while we continue to cultivate the players' strong team spirit and competitive nature. It is also about strengthening and further developing our game, as there are still several phases and situations where we can perform better.

“A number of players who have had international football in their legs in June will not return until later in pre-season, and this of course has an impact on how we start the first few days. But overall, we are looking forward to starting this pre-season, where we will continue to work on the good performances and continuity we saw at the end of the spring."

Dominik Sarapata is a new face in the squad, while Jonathan Moalem and Liam West have been permanently promoted to the first team from the U19s. In addition, U19 players Brandon Llana and Abdul Daramy are training in the pre-season.

The squad trains on Monday and Tuesday at 11am at Number 10, before everyone leaves for Austria on Wednesday. Remember that you can also meet the players for autograph signings on Tuesday afternoon, when they will be at Frederiksberg City Hall and Copenhagen City Hall.
