Neestrup: Point at OB could be decisive
Goals from Jordan Larsson and Pantelis Hatzidiakos earned F.C. Copenhagen a battling point at Odense as the Lions came back from two down to secure a stoppage-time draw with OB.
Larsson halved the deficit on 65 minutes before Hatzidiakos grabbed the leveller in the seventh minute of stoppage time.
Reflecting on Saturday's game, FCK head coach Jacob Neestrup said: "We showed a very, very strong mentality when we needed it the most, because one point could prove to be very decisive for whether we get into the top six, even if we don't have everything in our own hands.
"It was a match where we didn't perform at the level we wanted. It was too random, too disjointed and too unclear. It's too unclear, it's too individual, and we can't fall behind like we did 10 seconds after the break.
"Especially in the first half, we didn't manage to play them in the channels we wanted in our deep play, and that's best illustrated by their first goal, where we could have turned the ball up the field with a little bit of quality and played the ball deep.
"I still think it was a game that could have gone either way, but I also have the feeling that OB had more control over their game than we had over ours.
"I think Geovanni did excellently, and I think Moukoko also made a good and energetic turnout, and with a little more quality in some crucial situations, he also could have had an assist or two. I think Clem and Mads Emil came in the middle and gave us some calm in the game when we needed it, and Elyounoussi also came on and proved to be a breakthrough player.
"So there is something we can take with us to the Randers game next weekend in Parken, and we just have to win it, and then we have to see where we stand in the table."
