Ann-Kathrin Dilfer signs FCK Women contract extension
F.C. Copenhagen have agreed a contract extension with women's first-team goalkeeper Ann-Kathrin Dilfer until June 2027.
The German goalkeeper joined F.C. Copenhagen Women in the summer of 2025 after previously playing in Danish football's top flight, and now she is looking for a return to the A Liga when FCK Women's crucial qualifying matches start in March.
After her return from a cruciate ligament injury, Dilfer has been a solid and stable part of the squad, both on and off the pitch. Therefore, an extension made sense to all parties.
For F.C. For Copenhagen's Head of Women's Football, Romaney Pinnock, the extension is an important part of the preparations for the big challenge ahead.
“Ann-Kathrin is a really good example of the professionalism, dedication and hard work that is required when we move towards the A Liga. The contract extension reflects Ann-Kathrin's strong development, and we are very happy to be able to keep her,” says Pinnock.
Head coach Kasper Klarskov is particularly aware of Dilfer's sporting development and importance to the team. At the same time, he highlights the goalkeeper's well-developed skills with her feet, which are absolutely crucial to the way the Lionesses play.
“Ann-Kathrin came to us after a serious cruciate ligament injury, and the way she has fought back says a lot about her character. Her performances have been very solid, and she continues to grow in both self-confidence and influence. We have high expectations that she will continue to strengthen the team – both through her quality on the pitch and her presence in the group,” says Klarskov.
