Swedish FA approve application from FC Rosengård 1917’s Men’s first team
The Swedish Football Association (SvFF) has today passed its approval for FC Rosengård 1917’s Men’s first team to be operated in a joint limited liability company between PARKEN Sport & Entertainment A/S, Danir and FC Rosengård 1917.
The SvFF’s approval means that Danir, PS&E and FC Rosengård 1917 can establish joint ownership of the newly established limited liability company, FC Rosengård 1917 Elitfotboll AB, which will be responsible for the operation of the club’s Men’s first team.
The partnership between PS&E and Danir is anchored in a joint holding company, Greater Copenhagen Football Invest. The holding company owns shares in FC Rosengård 1917 Elitfotboll AB and will thereby make significant investment in FC Rosengård 1917’s Men’s first team.
The Men's first team's license will now be transferred to FC Rosengård 1917 Elitfotboll AB, with FC Rosengård 1917 retaining the majority of votes in accordance with the Swedish Football Association's rules.
The board of directors of FC Rosengård 1917 Elitfotboll AB will consist of representatives from all parties. The members of the proposed board are Håkan Wifvesson, Jacob Lauesen, Henrik Møgelmose, Johan Glennmo, Per Tryding and Dzijat Redzep.
FC Rosengård 1917's Men's first team, which currently play in the third-highest tier in Sweden, Ettan Södra, is now being provided with significant resources with a focus on talent development, performance, CSR and commercial initiatives. The ambition is to elevate FC Rosengård 1917's Men's first team to the highest possible level and in the process develop more talented, young players.
FC Rosengård 1917 Elitfotboll AB will immediately begin building a larger football organisation in Rosengård, where the hiring of a head coach with staff and the organisation of the team being of top priority, as the Swedish domestic season begins in the first week of April 2026.
