F.C. Copenhagen beat Villarreal 3-2 in dramatic clash

Andreas Cornelius' late goal was enough to finally put F.C. Copenhagen's UEFA Champions League clash at Villarreal to bed as the Lions secured a dramatic 3-2 victory in Spain on Wednesday.

The Danish champions were twice pegged back by their hosts before Cornelius popped up with the winner as the game headed into stoppage time.

Mohamed Elyounoussi's cool finish had put the Lions in front just two minutes into the match, while Elias Achouri made it 2-1 shortly after the break.

And it looked as though FCK would have to settle for a point after Villarreal had clawed the game back to 2-2, before Cornelius came off the bench to convert a deflected Elyounoussi effort into the net.

Thanks to the 500-600 FCK fans who made the journey to Spain!
