Ebury is F.C. Copenhagen’s first official transfer partner

For the first time, F.C. Copenhagen can present an official Foreign Exchange Partner, as the global fintech company Ebury implements its tailored solutions with the Danish champions.

The partnership gives F.C. Copenhagen access to Ebury’s advanced foreign exchange and currency conversion solutions, as well as international payment systems.

With the three-year commercial agreement, Ebury will become a visible partner in Parken Stadium and across F.C. Copenhagen’s platforms, while Ebury’s global digital platform will support F.C. Copenhagen’s financial operations and optimise currency transactions across borders.

Ebury specialises in secure and efficient international payment and currency risk management solutions for sports clubs around the world, and now becomes F.C. Copenhagen’s first official transfer partner.

“We’re pleased to welcome Ebury, a very exciting and solid international company with plenty of experience from, for example, the Premier League,” says F.C. Copenhagen’s Commercial Director, Mikkel Grove Lindsted.

“The partnership will contribute to our business, and at the same time, we can offer Ebury a strong network among partners and companies in Scandinavia.”

The London-based fintech company has more than 1,800 employees worldwide across 29 different markets, and they are now opening their first Scandinavian office in Copenhagen.

“Our partnership with F.C. Copenhagen marks a very special milestone for Ebury in our ongoing expansion, and we are very excited to enter into a collaboration with Scandinavia’s biggest club – a Champions League club with massive reach,” says Peter Brooks, Global Head of Sport at Ebury.

“We are looking forward to this and are confident that we will be able to contribute to F.C. Copenhagen’s continued growth.”
