Kim Christensen Extends His Contract with F.C. Copenhagen
Goalkeeping coach Kim Christensen has today signed a new contract with F.C. Copenhagen, ensuring that he will continue in his role at the club.
Kim C. has been a key figure in the goalkeeping department since his appointment in the summer of 2018, when he joined as goalkeeping coach. Prior to that, he enjoyed an eight-year playing career at F.C. Copenhagen.
Kim Christensen says:
“I am incredibly happy to continue my work here at the club. I work with some of the most talented goalkeepers and colleagues, and I’m really looking forward to continuing our shared journey.”
“I care deeply about F.C. Copenhagen, and I know this club inside out. It is my club, and I never get tired of running out at Parken in front of the best fans in the world. I am proud to be able to continue, and I am proud of the many outstanding goalkeepers we have had at our club over so many years.”
“Now I’m looking forward to getting back out on the training pitch, because I love going to work every single day at F.C. Copenhagen. I look forward to further strengthening the relationships within the team and in the daily work at Number 10 and at Parken. It is a pleasure to be part of a club that is the largest in Scandinavia and has huge ambitions both nationally and internationally,” says Kim Christensen.
Sporting Director Sune Smith-Nielsen says about the extension:
“Kim is a tremendous asset to the club both on and off the pitch, and we are delighted that he is continuing. His professional approach and his work with our goalkeepers have been of great importance and of a very high standard.”
“It has been important to secure an extension to ensure continuity, and we know that our goalkeeping department is in safe hands when Kim has that responsibility. He knows what it takes to work at F.C. Copenhagen,” says Sune Smith-Nielsen.
