Club statement on FCK vs Galatasaray tickets

Prior to F.C. Copenhagen's Champions League group stage matches in Parken, a lot of focus was centered around whether there would be a mixing of fans from away teams in the home sections of the stadium.

Thankfully the club can report that after two of our three home group games, there have been no significant problems. Even so, there is extra focus on the last match in the group stage against Galatasaray, which, like the other games, is sold out.

After the ticket sales for this season's Champions League group games, we were able to say that more than 99 percent of the tickets were sold to people who have previously been to FCK matches in Parken.

Since then, the conduct of the matches against Bayern Munich and Manchester United has gone really well in terms of avoiding the mixing of fans within the stadium, where there have been very few incidents.

This has largely confirmed our expectation that the ticket sale process went as planned, and it is therefore primarily the resale of tickets that may pose challenges for the upcoming match against Galatasaray. This is a match that we are paying extra attention to, not least on the basis of the games the club has played in Manchester and Munich, where there have been problems with the mixing of fans.

Therefore, we again strongly encourage you not to resell your seats. This is partly because it is illegal to sell them at a higher price than you bought them for, and partly for safety reasons, as we do not want FCK fans and fans of the away team to be mixed in the stands.

Fake tickets for sale
At the same time, we can ascertain that there are fake tickets among the tickets that have been put up for sale. There also seem to be tickets for sale in the away section, although not a single ticket has been issued for that section yet. Therefore, please be reminded that you must only buy tickets directly via billet.fck.dk or, if you are a Galatasaray fan via the Turkish club, who are responsible for the sale of all away tickets.

For the match against Galatasaray, the away team's fans will again be located in the D Stand – with access via Gunnar Nu Hansens Plads. It is also the only section where it is permitted to show affiliation with the away team, through scarves, chanting, or other forms.

Risk of removal
If you should show you affiliation with the away team in the home sections of Parken then you may be removed from the stadium without the possibility of getting the ticket refunded. There will be searches and ticket checks in the queues at the entrances to the match.

If this happens then your ticket will be cancelled without the possibility of another location or refund.

However, there will be some people supporting Galatasaray in Lower A Stand, where the visiting team always have a number of tickets for VIPs, while Galatasaray's U19 players also have seats there. Finally, there are a number of tickets that UEFA have at their disposal, and which we therefore cannot control who uses them. This is also the case when we play in other stadiums.

We are very much looking forward to the big match, which is sure to have major sporting significance for where FCK finish in the group stage. We once again encourage you to use the seats you have bought yourself.
