F.C. Copenhagen and Malmø FF has today agreed upon an immediate transfer of the player Junior. The 31 year-old Brazilian striker has signed af two and a half year deal with the Danish champions.

Junior played 51 matches and scored 25 goals for Malmø FF. In the season 2005/06 he represented Odense Boldklub where he achieved great success and scored 10 goals in 17 matches.

- Since Junior came to OB and then to Malmø, he has kept an impressive high level of play – both as a goal scorer and as a team player. Junior has been very excited about getting the upportunity to play for our club and I’m sure he will be a great asset to this team, says Carsten V. Jensen.

- When I heard about the interest from F.C. Copenhagen there was no doubt in my mind. This is the biggest club in Scandinavia and I’m looking forward to playing in the PARKEN stadium. I know the club very well and have seen FCK play many times, so I’m really looking forward to get started, says Junior.

The Brazilian striker will play with shirt number 18 and will soon join his team mates in La Manga, where a training camp just has begun.
