Felix Beijmo called up to Sweden's national team

Felix Beijmo has been given a late call-up to the Sweden national team.

The 28-year-old defender has traveled to Stockholm to join the squad for Sweden's away match against Bosnia and Herzegovina, which takes place on Friday evening.

Beijmo has not yet made an appearance for the Swedish senior team but has played over 25 games across various youth levels.

"Of course, I'm very happy and proud to have been called up to the Swedish national team."

"It's something I've been working towards for a while, and with the help of my teammates and the staff at F.C. Copenhagen, I've now been given the opportunity."

So far, the Swede has played 16 matches for F.C. Copenhagen, recording 13 wins, two draws, and just one defeat.
