Victory over Man Utd in UEFA Youth League
F.C. Copenhagen's U19s made it three wins from three in the UEFA Youth League Group A with a 1-0 victory over Manchester United on Tuesday.
The Young Lions secured victory in the second half when Queyrell Tchicamboud found space in the box to convert at Leigh Sports Village.
FCK dominated the early throes of the game without troubling United's goal, and it was Theo Sander at the other end who was on hand to deny Omari Forson.
The visitors held firm until half time and implemented a disciplined counter-attacking game in the second half that paid off when Tchicamboud found the net.
United threw everything they could at FCK's goal in search of a late equaliser but we held on to extend our lead at the top of Group A to six points.
It wasn't a trademark FCK U19s performance by any means but the team got the three points they needed in England to maintain the pace.
