Codan's history at B1903
The deal sees Codan return as a partner of FCK, after it was the main sponsor for B1903 between 1978 until 1992.
"It's great to welcome Codan back. It is part of our strategy that we will contribute to children and young people having a lot of positive experiences around football, regardless of whether they dream of playing in Parken or just love the game," says Mikkel Grove Lindsted, commercial director of F.C. Copenhagen.
"Codan will contribute very actively to this work in collaboration with us via the partnership, which stretches across our training days and camps, and to the club's greatest talents, so that everyone gets a boost. We are really happy about that, and we are very much looking forward to the collaboration with Codan."
The U19 team will have Codan on their shirts for future matches.
Codan supports Parken playing dream
Codan's marketing director Mikkel Friis Lind says: "Regardless of age, gender or background, the positive effects of sport, including football, are invaluable.
"Through our partnership with F.C. Copenhagen, we want to give the children who dream of one day playing in Parken the best possible conditions and football experiences to perhaps do so. At the same time, we want to help to promote health, cooperation and community, which is crucial for their development as people.
"We can help create the framework for it to be fun to play football for the benefit of both physical and mental health, which is a growing and very current societal problem. With this initiative and our commitment to the health and wellbeing of children and young people, we confirm our commitment to making a difference for the next generation."
