3-1 defeat to Manchester City
The F.C. Copenhagen players gave everything they had to make Tuesday a special night in Parken but couldn't stop Manchester City winning 3-1 in front of our amazing fans.
Magnus Mattsson equalised for the Lions with a pinpoint effort from distance after Kevin De Bruyne had put the visitors ahead.
However, Bernardo Silva restored City's lead before the break and, in added time, Phil Foden grabbed City's third after some heroic defending from the Lions.
Andreas Cornelius came close to equalising before Foden's strike, while debutants Mattsson and Scott McKenna enjoyed terrific displays on their first outing in an FCK shirt.
The defeat means the Lions have it all to do heading into the UEGA Champions League last-16 second leg in Manchester next month.
The club would also like to express our thanks for the terrific support from 35,853 spectators in Parken.
