Ståle: Satisfied with 3-1 win over SønderjyskE

F.C. Copenhagen manager Ståle Solbakken was happy with his players after the second friendly back since the coronavirus lockdown.

FCK beat SønderjyskE 3-1 in an empty Telia Parken stadium on Tuesday afternoon.

Strikes from Rasmus Falk and Mohamed Daramy - plus a Stefan Gartenmann own goal - earned the Lions victory.

"There was clear progress from the OB game last Friday and more players looked better and looked more match-fit," Ståle said.

"We had more pace in the game and created chances throughout. But friendly matches are still nothing compared to competitive games.

"It was important to see progress from last time and both we and SønderjyskE benefited from a higher intensity and a higher tempo.

"Now we still have a few days on the training ground to work on final things before we play Lyngby in the Superliga on Monday."

Ståle also didn't rule out Viktor Fischer being ready for the match on Monday, while Jonas Wind is out for the next 2-3 weeks with injury.
