Ståle: Sensible Champions League draw
FC Copenhagen manager Ståle Solbakken is pleased with the "sensible" UEFA Champions League draw today.
FCK will face one of five opponents in the second qualifying round of this season's Champions League.
The Lions will take on the winner of Welsh side New Saints' clash with one of KF Feronikeli, Lincoln Red Imps FC, Tre Penne or FC Santa Coloma.
“It looks like a sensible draw compared to the opponents we could have faced," Ståle told FCK.dk.
"We know that such battles are always special, and every team gives their utmost. So this is not a given, no matter which opponent we draw. Now we have to prepare for these matches and the Superliga, and we will focus on the opponent when the fixture is confirmed."
TNS will play their first qualifying round on 9/10 July and 16/17 July.
FCK will then meet the winner of that round on 23/24 July and 29/30 July. We will play away in the first leg.
