Revolut become new stand partners

F.C. Copenhagen and Revolut, the new international digital challenger bank, have signed a partnership agreement regarding the A Stand in Telia Parken until the summer of 2023.

Revolut was launched in 2015 as a financial service that, through its app, allows its customers to digitally manage payments and other banking transactions in an easy and user-friendly way.

It is free to become a customer and create an account with associated cards.

The company is global, has over 10 million customers and handles more than 350 million transactions.

"Revolut is really an interesting partner for us," says Katja Moesgaard, COO of F.C. Copenhagen.

"Like us, they are part of a rapidly expanding digital market with new innovative opportunities, which is why we are a perfect match.

"Revolut fit perfectly with our ambition to play with the best in the world. They are leaders in their field and are in the process of revolutionising the way we think about banking. They are very inspiring for us to learn from."

Revolut has over 50,000 customers in Denmark, and in 2019 they were named the UK's fastest growing business and the fastest growing banking challenger.

"Revolut is a great sparring partner who can inspire us in the digital field, and we are absolutely convinced that together we can find new and better solutions in a number of areas,” adds Katja.

“As a part of our strategy, we want to develop digitally, and we are very much looking forward to this partnership.”

Revolut can also see good opportunities in the partnership for both parties.

"We are very proud and delighted to have established a partnership with one of the largest and most successful football clubs in the Nordic region," says Lasse Kalkar, Nordic Growth Manager at Revolut.

"The partnership will help us to stay and grow constantly in the Nordic region. Together, we and FCK we will be able to offer FCK fans fantastic deals. This applies whether they support FCK in Telia Parken, on away trips or simply follow the club from the couch at home.

“The partnership will kickstart a big push in Denmark and will be just one of the big partnerships we expect to announce in 2020, so we can do even more for our Danish customers.”

You will first experience Revolut as part of the A Stand for our home match against AaB on Sunday, 1 March at 6 pm.
