Daramy recollects first goal vs Esbjerg

F.C. Copenhagen youngster Mohamed Daramy scored his first Lions goal in a match against Esbjerg last season.

FCK face Esbjerg this Sunday and Daramy remembers his previous goal clearly.

I will remember it forever
"That was my first goal for the club in Telia Parken, so I will forever remember that!" he told FCK.dk.

"It was a great and important goal that helped us to victory in a difficult match after an expulsion to Jonas Wind. So I'm looking forward to meeting them again and hopefully getting the chance to show my worth again."

Getting better and better in each match
During the international break, Daramy and several of his teammates maintained their fitness by playing in the reserve league. Daramy played for FCK reserves last week against Lyngby and says he feels match fit for first team.

“I think I have trained well and done okay. It's good for me to get minutes for the reserves and stay in shape," he said.

"I get better and better every game I play and every training session. I still have to improve, run more and work hard defensively as well, even though I'm an offensive player. But I work on that every day."

We have to dominate Esbjerg from the start
FCK's last Superliga outing was a defeat at Brøndby and Daramy is determined to claim three points on Sunday.

"We have to dominate Esbjerg from the start and show who is at home!" he added.

"We're better than them and it's a good opportunity to get back on track after the international break. We just have to go out and win, it's that simple."
