Pair loaned out for spring season

FC Copenhagen last week reached an agreement with FC Nordsjælland to loan out Morten Nordstrand and Bryan Oviedo for the remainder of the spring. Both teams are currently in La Manga, southern Spain, playing in the Copa del Sol tournament, and the agreement comes into force with immediate effect until 30 June 2011.

FCK Sporting Director Carsten V. Jensen commented on the deal:

- After Nordstrand’s previous year of injury and subsequent rehabilitation period, this loan spell at FCN will be a fantastic opportunity to get regular games at the highest level to regain his natural level of fitness. Therefore we can look forward from the summer to again utilising Nordstrand in his finest form.

- Bryan Oviedo has had great success in his first year at FC Copenhagen. The last piece of the puzzle to compete for places at FCK comes through the experience you can get by playing week after week in league matches and fighting for important points. When Bryan this summer comes back to Copenhagen, he will be far better equipped to continue his development here at the club.

Nordstrand has so far rounded 100 appearances for FC Copenhagen and has managed to score 37 goals, while Oviedo is listed for 6 games. The club wishes both players good luck in the Nordsjælland.
