Jacob was born approximately half an hour from PARKEN, and like many other FCK-players began playing football at the age of 5. His first club was Ledøre-Smørum, and he stayed with the club until he was 13, and from then he has been playing for KB. In 2005 Jacob was part of the clubs U16-team that won the Danish championship.
Jacob's favorite position is central defender, and there is little doubt that his height and physical strenght will prevent many opponents from scoring.
Since the summer of 2008 Jacob has been part of the first team squad. He has played several test matches for F.C. Copenhagen, and he has made his debut in a UEFA Cup-game against Cliftonville. Furthermore, he played a vital part in central defence at the U19-National team, when they qualified for the next round of the UEFA U19-Championship.
Jacob's head is a good weapon in set pieces, so there is good reason to believe that he eventually will score more goals for F.C. Copenhagen than the single one his brother Martin scored ... Martin played for Copenhagen during 2002-04, and is now representing West Bromwich Albion. | |||
