Thomas Kristensen, or just ”TK”, was transferred to F.C. Copenhagen on July 15th 2008 after having played the last 3½ season for FC Nordsjælland.

TK can look back at a career where he has played all his life for clubs in the vicinity of Copenhagen. As a youth player he represented Virum, Søllerød, AB, before joining Lyngby as a senior player and later FC Nordsjælland.

His impressive and consistent play for FC Nordsjælland earned him a call from Danish National coach Morten Olsen, and TK played two A-Internationals in the spring of 2008.

With TK in the line-up, F.C. Copenhagen has got an offensive midfielder with a great running capacity, who can read the play well, lay an accurate pass to a teammate, and on top of that he has a very hard shot.

He soon earned a place as a regular in the central midfield, and it was well-deserved that he doubled his number of Internationals during the autumn of 2008.
